so i was driving down the road, went to signal and the lights on the dash and on the body stopped flashing, they just stayed on. I was able to manually pump the signal lever to get it to flash. I bought a new signal relay for the fuse panel and then they didn't come on at all. i checked every fuse, and the hazard lights still blink normally. Any thoughts? trying to change lanes and merge is a pain without signals. lol

Well i was going to suggest u try the relay but it seems like u already did... lol. Try reseting the whole system by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about 30 seconds and then reconnecting it.

May be a long shot, but maybe a wires are making contact with each other?

This happened to me. Every time I turned the Turn Signal, my whole dash would turn on and flash along with the light. It turns out my Dog chewed the wire harness for towing off.

My turn signals quit working, too. Entirely. The 4-way flashers still work though. I just repaired my fuel tank and bolted it back in and bolted the bed back down, I don't know if I did something to disturb the wiring. It seems like the wires where they plug into the clip is ok, though I haven't tested them yet.

Would the flasher still possibly be bad? Or is that a different circuit? The fuse is fine.

A burnt-out bulb usually causes them to stop blinking (if they randomly start working again for a moment, the bulb filament might be intermittent).

This happened to me too. The turn signals stopped working for a day or so, then they randomly started to work again.

Try a new fuse, I had a 93 Explorer before my Ranger that this happened to. On the fuse box under the dash board, there is a small 10 or 15 amp fuse that lines up to the turn signals. The fuse hadn't broken, but I replaced it and it worked just fine afterwards.

I just burned something out this morning in the turn signals of my Bronco II, probably by connecting to a trailer wiring plug with a short. I replaced all the turn signal bulbs, even though they appeared OK. I replaced a blown 15A fuse and both flashers, which got the emergency flashers working, but not the turn signals.

Is there something else, another fuse, maybe something in the steering column, that could be burned out?

Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Okay. Found it.
Another bad fuse that I had checked.
There is one separate fuse and one separate flasher for both the hazard lights and the turn signals, even though they appear to activate the same filament of the bulbs.
