ok so well with my head lights off all off my signals work but when i turn my head lights on only the right signal works an when i turn the left signal on it just stays on an wont shut off till i shut the head lights off.?? i dont understand an when i shut the truck off an turn it back on they would with the head lights on for like 5 mins then start doin the same thing? its screwed up

Check the bulbs.

I've seen parking light filament short to turn signal filament in the same bulb.

Could also have a corroded socket or corrosion in the square plug under the driver seat.

And also check the grounding wires.

ok i cant find anything wrong with that stuff but now when i signal left every light on the ass end of my truck flashes? its screwed up im losted

Done any electrical work (additions, mods, changed bulbs, etc)? Run through deep water or puddles fast (no it isn't cool, LOL)?

Do you have a Haynes or Chiltons book? They have fairly good electrical diagrams in them. Then all you can do is start tracing from the switch to each bulb. There must be a short somewhere, maybe the flasher relay?

sounds like your multi-function switch (yeah, that's what Ford calls it) is going bad. IIRC, you have to pull the top part of the column off to replace it. Kind of a pain in the ass, but not too bad. If it's not the multi function switch, then if you have trailer light wiring that may be the problem because I kow one of my friends had that problem with his. the ground got corroded and made his lights all screwy. Good luck.

I'm having a similar problem. My rear blinkers both light up when I signal. So from behind it looks like my hazards are one, but the front is completely normal (when signaling).
