So I changed the bed on my 94 ranger 4.0. The bed is from a later model ranger and I have gone from a 6 light set up (1 red, 1 clear and 1 yellow on each side) to a 4 light set up of the newer style lights (1 red and 1 reverse on each side).
I have spent forever and a day trying to figure out how to get the turn signals to work with this set up. I have tried a relay and nothing (I am assuming the voltage drop across the relay is too much to power the turn lights). I have test all the wires from the chassis harness to the bed harness. The number of wires matches up just no turn signals what so ever. I use the truck for work and that was the reason for the bed swap.
Thanks
Brandon

I actually purchased the same thing from advance auto (different make but same deal with 5 wires into the module and 4 out). when it was hooked up it still wouldnt switch the turn signals on at all.
maybe I need to go to napa and try this one out though.....
