I have an '89 ranger that keeps blowing the fuse. It has a tilt steering wheel. Could the problem be in the harness inside the steering wheel or in the blinker/wiper switch? Anyone have this problem? Thanks for your help!:icon_confused:

sounds to me like you have corroded wire or a grounding issue.

if it grounds out, it will blow the fuse indefinitely.
corroded wire has less insulation, more strands exposed, giving it more of a possibility to touch a bare metal surface and ground out.

check any ground leads, and check the wires themselves.... gl man, these old trucks, i'll tell ya what, they can be a pain in the rear quarters for sure.
