I am supposed to help my local wheelin' bro change both axles on his Cherokee this coming weekend... If I can get pops to tie up the lift with something, I can get out of it & it will be T.B. for me & Kim!! I will know more towards the end of the week.....

Apparently the forces of evil are working against me...

Been having issues with the B2 cutting out at high RPM, went through emissions 2 days ago & failed miserably.. Needless to say, my tags expired at the end of Dec. & I am having major carb issues which I can't seem to get figured out. It has been in need of a rebuild for a while so I guess it's time.

The fact I am having carb issues & expired tags knocks me out again.. I've had 'er out locally playing in the snow the past few days, but a long drive isn't feasible at the moment....

I don't know what to say fellers, when I get 'er back right I will post up & let ya'll know I am fixed and ready....

Hey Allen, can I borrow that "thing" between your front frame rails while your doing your "engine rebuild" so I can use it for mockup and build my bumper??

John, there is a small chance SVT will be hitting the trails this time Gonna go shopping for a driveshaft tomorrow aka junkyard...We found Jay's problem, it wasn't the tcase at all, it was the front axle shaft not fully engaged into the diff....about a 1/4 inch of the end of the shaft was stripped, just past the area of the C-clip, cleaned it up and re-installed it and it has full contact now. Jay got some springs to complete the C-clip eliminator mod, so this will not happen again!!

I posted my update for 16th in the socail group, I ain't retyping it all!
Be good to see Mark again.
I just got to get a rotor and new bearings and a seal from Auto Zone tomorrow. Must be what was moaning so bad last time on the way home! Damn bearings locked up on the spindle.
Oh and if anyone wants to know, them axle end spacer washer things that go right at the spindle behind the half moon clip are, from what I researched and blew the phone up about today, a dealer only item. I been scouring JYs for em and their always all gone, so tomorrow I'm ordering some from Pennyrile Ford, if they got the right part and price they're $16 & change each. I'll order a few so there are spares.
