How do I take a turbo off on an 86 ranger diesel. I am having issues getting to bolts on manifold. Also I have blow by entering my air filter. What is the least expensive way to treat this. It is a small amout of oil I believe but enough to hut the turbo. I am new to this and just purchased the diesel ranger.

Easy way to get to turbo on a Ranger.... Lift the cab or pull the motor. Being an 86 it could probably benefit with some new cab mount bushings anyhow. As for a little oil hitting your turbo impeller. Not worth worrying about. Mercedes diesels are well known for blowing a bit of oil into the air intake. They even have a service fix for it that sort of helps but not much. If it has an inter-cooler you should flush the oil out of it periodically.
