Turbo fun

I had a similar issue that turned out to be a failed intake gasket at the head, there were chunks missing...

I had chucks missing at the plenum haha I have the clocked ported intake from stinger, (already busted)but I got it sealed up, was... Testing it.. And blew a intake Hose off, replaced it, added hairspray and a better t-bolt clamp. Been working too much too mess with it much anymore, weekends only really. I will post pics soon and results from these next tests

Also, how much boost are you running?

I think I was running 12psi on my setup, before the port work it was 16psi... hopefully the next engine runs as well or better than the last one :), and hopefully my head survived whatever catastrophic failure happened...

Really bringing this post back from the dead, but a few years later my turbo ranger is actually done! 22psi of boost, turbo coupe ecu and block, ported intake and head, holset hx35 turbo, explorer 8.8 rear, big intercooler, she's a beast, I haven't dynoed it so I'm not going to throw any numbers out, but I can say it will beat my supercharged 5.0 mustang.
