turbo charger kit for 2010 2.3 DOHC

What are my option ??? any kit's availlable the truck is brand new I'm getting it in november ( it take's 6 week after the date of ordering to get it )

anyway is there anybody who did it that can give me info ??

I'm talking about a 2010 2.3 DOHC duratec engine !!!

what are the difference betwen a focus 2.3 and a ranger 2.3 engine

My main question is: what could I use to tune the engine ?? I've seen kit's for ford focus claiming a 250 hp at the crank a 8 psi !! so that would be a good start !!

Whether your turbo charging a new motor or an old school low tech shit motor, all the same rules apply.

Read up on turbocharging and get an understanding of it and what you need to do to get the motor to run right, before you go about attempting to shove 8psi down your brand new motors throat.

I've been swapping subaru and building high compression subaru engine for the past 2 years so I think I know a thing or two about engines ... or maybe not

anyway my question remains : what are my tuning option ... in Subaru we can run : ecuteck, cobb, acessport,open ecu, altec -> almost a dozen of different options are offered so what are my option in Ford ... please no Stand alone !

and 8 psi isn't much boost and I'm pretty shure a stock engine could last 100 000 miles without major faillure ( if tuned correctly)

IIRC, The Focus and car based Duratech engines run VVT, and the Rangers do not (or do they now?)

Otherwise I'm pretty sure a Duratech 2.3 is a Duratech 2.3.

Here is a guy who is swapping a turbocharged Duratec into a older Ranger. You might want to get with him and see what he is using for a tuner. He is also custom fabbing his own parts.
