Turbo 3.0 91 xlt ranger

I have a 91 Ford ranger and a t3t4 turbo I run 10 psi daily /shop truck work in progress it's on a 8.8 with 4 link LSD I have a hydro brake installed it's a manual transmission

I have been wanting to swap a 5.0 in it but I daily the truck so kinda hard to

take it that 10 is holding long term? i would probably stay at 8 with higher fuel psi....

unless i gapped the rings.

if this is long term on stock injectors that is good news.

kind of hard to justify a stockish 5.0 swap with as cheap as it is to turbo stuff now. more room for the turbo with the smaller engine....

but your stuck with the stock powertrain strength. which with a manual or the later 4r55 5r55 is livable.

As far as I know they are stock I never changed them and I have a trial bov so I have it routed to keep pressure at 10 psi max and it can very the boost stays low untill about 2700 from there it hits hard to 10

Yea I am just wait till the vucan 3.0 lays down then I will swap it out
