Turbo 2.3?

I just recently bought a 1985 ranger, 2.3 4x4 5 speed. I replaced the clutch and got her going, but she's definitely not a speed demon. I was wondering if installing a turbo is actually worth it, I'm not trying to drag race it or anything by any means, I'd just like a little more pick up and go. Any advice helps, and if it is worth it what turbo should I go with?

There is a subforum for turbo applications, look around there at what other people have done, you may find the answers to your questions. I think a popular turbo swap is from the Turbo Coupe Thunderbirds into the Ranger.
