Tuner Boy from Hell


I want that MR2 so bad... and I hate vw's. So win in my book. Just gotta play it off like you aren't a shitty driver.

I have a tastefully done, and VERY fast JettaGLX that eats MR2s and VTECs for breakfast on a semi-regular basis. I say semi-regular because most of the time, I just ignore the riceboys, and I'm getting too old to play this stupid game. When they get truly obnoxious, I just set down on the skinny pedal and leave them behind.

Last time I had the car out last summer, I walked all over a second-gen Ranger with a 302 in it out on US 641 north of Murray, KY. The guy just laughed when he caught up at the next light and said, 'well, I won't be challenging this VW again.' Then we sat and talked for awhile about cars at the BP station while we both filled up.

See, now guys like those are awesome! They admit defeat and are humbled by your ride.

Up here, the losers simply keep on trying until something breaks or they find out where you live and wreak your ride. :annoyed:

Good thing cops up here care about stuff like this and have no problem flexing the long arm of the law!
 
On a side note; guys like this are the ones to stay away from. They have more than enough bite to go with the bark.............

Those Supra inline 6's have been known to push 2000 Horsepower in the racing world.


They can push out 2000 horsepower but it's only worth a damn from a rolling start, like in the video. They can't put those big ponies to the ground to save their life.


Like the old joke goes: What do a 300hp, 600hp, and 900hp supra have in common? They all run 13s





There's a guy over on customtacos.com that specializes in those engines and has done quite a few swaps to drop them into Tacomas. Now THAT is a sick ride.

some of those jap cars are fast, the 3000GT VR4 twin turbo (My favorite Jap made) the Supra, Evolution, and STI are pretty quick and can be made to be truelly fast. How ever like the saying goes "Theres no replacement for displacement" :D I still like my v8 Muscle. Doesnt meen I wouldnt take a 3000GT VR4 though lol :D
 
I had a buddy with a 318 Diplomat that use to eat mustangs, SI Civics, and Even a Porsche once.....but thats a diff story :)

I get ricers trying to race me all the time. Its really fun when i pick them off with the dually. That thing is tough stoplight to stoplight, i cant do it on a passing run though (it tops at like 70MPH) but the look on there face when they get embarassed by a 33 yr old Ford with a Flatbed and im primer...is priceless....

I've always been told that the 4 cylinder Supra has one big turbo and the inline 6 has twin turbos.

Either way, I would not mind at all owning one of those cars!
 
Turbo cars never really impressed me much, it was the old Big Block Domestics i fell inlove with....

Nothing quite like seeing a 2ton Piece of detroit Iron Jet down the 1/4mi in 12-13 secs.

Anyone who has ever riddin in a muscle car understands what im talking about, You climb in, and the door shuts with a "thud", The driver Fires the engine and the exhaust cooks your feet, and the car shakes with sheer torque, the smell of burnt oil, exhaust, and old Vynil fills the cabin, the car squeeks and rattles, and vibrates, The driver mats the pedal and you hear the tires just screaming for mercy as the old big block shreds them with every ounce of torque its capable of, finally traction is caught and your ass is planted in the seat, you watch the speedo, 20-30-40, the driver shifts, drops the clutch, you hear the tires squeel again 50-60-70-, its just an awesome ride for the senses.

What about a big-block turbo? Or Turbo'd Detriot Iron? Like the Buick Grand National?
 
Don't they know that is bad for the wheel bearings and suspension. And if anything, found out that it does squat for traction.

In other sense, he got whats coming. :D

Well they dont care about that. The performance parts are just for looks on those little cars anyway :icon_confused:
