Hi all, I got some extra cash this week and I figure I'll treat my truck to a bit of a tune-up. I already have oil and a filter, what else should I do? I got about $40 to do but whatever is needed. It's still on factory plugs with 135000 on the clock and missing a bit under heavy load so I figure those will need changing. And maybe the fuel filter, anything other recommendations?

well it sounds as if it hasn't had anything done to it. don't be surprised if something starts leaking when you change fluids. Also do tranny fluid, deff fuel filter, maybe some fuel system cleaner, check power steering, maybe do a coolant flush. all of this will be more than 40 bucks but what can you do. but first do oil, fuel filter, and tranny fluid and spark plugs. thats all i think of possibly diff fluid.

Thanks for the recommendations guys, i ended up doing the oil, plugs and wires, and the fuel filter. The truck runs like it's brand new lol
