hey guys lookin too bye a moderatley sized tubing bender for 1 1/2" tubing too make bumpers and such. does anyone know of a good model at good cost or any for sale near British Columbia Canada
thanks a lot

can we just do good benders over all i would like to get one of these some time soon too just want to find a good one

me three, but i need one that you can do dom tubing with...and any other round pipe:icon_welder::icon_hornsup:

JD 2 is good bender and JMR are also. You cant go wrong with any bender that has a radius die and a counter bending die. Just dont buy one that has a hydralic jack that bends the tube(a Kinker bender), its ugly and you lose strengh.

my friend has the jd2 hydraulic bender and i have use it before and its awesome and as for the bottle jack tube bender they do not kink tubes as long as you use a tube not a pipe bender from harbor freight .. The tube bender with the bottle jack it use a mandrel die to prevent that!!!!!!

I have the plans for this tube bender from the company but i have no clue how to convert the file from adobe to something i can post up for everyone if you know how to do that let me know so can post it up

the pro tools bender for 699 sounds like a good deal. you just have to stick with one size tubing mine would be 1.75 od .120 wall dom tubing

ive got the PRO-TOOLS 105 bender and its awesome. they have the best customer service which is the main reason i decided to go with them. later after reading in some forums, i found that the pro tools benders are a better(stronger) product than the JD2 and the JMR benders. i have 1.5 dies but if i where to have only one set of dies it would be the 1.75" like Downey said.

tube and pipe are measured differently. tube is measured in outside diameter and pipe is measured in inside diameter so you can not use the same dies for pipe and tubing.

Ive also got the pro tools 105 bender and I have been very impressed. It does exactly what its supposed to making it a great tool and making bending very easy. It will do DOM tube as well.

Just purchased JD squared model 3 with an 1 1/2" die for $780 Canadian
