Hey, I adapted your templates for a 2" lift (I'll post picks of my changes tomorrow). I do have a pick of the passenger side plasma cut with 1/4" plate (a little sloppy but not bad for free hand plasma cutting).

They dont look to bad for free hand at all clean em up a bit and will look good.

Wouldnt worry too much it will still be plenty strong but you wight have to drill a new hole in the crossmember.

Is the driver side piece only one piece or is there more than one piece?

Just the one piece. I used the old skool method of the plate bracket because it was easy but have seen people fabricate a bracket that allows more clearance for the pumpkin. as seen in the tech article.
