Ok So before the forum died I asked how to install TTB d44 without mod. I thought some one said I can just modify the pivot bracket but I can't remeber for sure. If so I'm looking for a newer ttb lift brackets cheap.
thanks again.

you can move the short beam piviot inboard,to make for the same spacing as a f150 from what i understand. and achive 4inchs of lift and aprx 4inches of track.

Three ways to put it in:

1.
Modify the pivot brackets by drilling a new hole 1" toward center on each bracket (some brackets might not have enough 'meat' on them to allow for another hole)

2.
Cut down the passengerside axleshafts a total of 1.5-2", and then bolt the axle into the unmodified brackets. This will result in the axle being 2" narrower than on the F-150/Bronco it came from.

3. (best method)
Lengthen both beams 1" at the pivots.

Mods to your radius arm mounts will be needed no matter which way you go, and you may need to space your coil buckets out from the frame a bit as well.
You'll also need a 1/8-1/4" washer or shim to go between the D44 beam and radius arm, if using RBV arms (the D44 beam is slightly narrower)

sweet thanks guys I really need that info. I think i will try to modify the pivot brackets first. anybody have a good idea of what ones would have the most Meat. or should I take a stock set and have more meat add. (by a pro. welder not me)
