I have a 1986 B2 that has issues with the 4.9L engine and I am going to do the 4.0L swap. It is a manual transmission and I would like to keep it that way. I read in TRS that the easiest doner vehicle is earlier than 1994. I am having difficulty getting that old a vehicle. If I get a later vehicle how difficult would it be? I would be obtaining the total vehicle. I want to stay away from having to change the engine mounts.
