Truckspotters

Never try to calculate the cost of ownership on a project car. Unless your @Rick W you probably will never like the answer.
But it's not supposed to -be- a project car! :cry:

That might just leave a mark...

What, the headlights? Bring ‘em on!!

hmmm, let me think a minute. They may be below the bumper by now. Bring ‘em on anyway....

destiny = wallet > budget

I have been messing around with mine for over 20 years, currently waiting on an email from james duff to see if they can hodge podge together a traction bar kit or if I will just order new front shocks next (and update to the ahead of axle front swaybar at the same time) as I install rocksliders. ;brownbag;

According to this guy the Ranger will be for sale at Ford Nationals in Carlisle this coming weekend. I will try to get pictures of it. I remember someone last year or the year before had these same pictures on here.

I remember seeing that on here. I thought that maybe there was some issues of this guy even having that truck... like it was supposed to be scrapped maybe?

I think you're right, I doubt it has a vin plate. It probably has some internal Ford number on it though. A friend of mine is restoring a Pontiac GTO for a customer it looks like a 69-70 Judge but it's older. It has some of the features of the cars that followed the next 5 years, turns out its an experimental car that was show cased by GM and pushed around the shows in the late 65 on. It has a different kind of serialization to my understanding.

I thought the "sea splash" truck was stolen from ford or something like that and they have been trying to get it back because it was never meant to be released. :dunno:

Edit - just noticed @Uncle Gump beat me to it.

I still wonder if it has any kind of legitimate title or any way a buyer could make it legal to even register/drive considering it's ownership is questionable and it technically was never even produced.
