So my trucks leaning about 2 inches to the right in the back.. all the leaf hangers are fine and the shackles are good.. maybe saggy leafs? or bent axle? ill try and get some pics int he mornings when its light out

thats weird, usually they lean to the left because of the gas tank, driver, and battery all being on one side. Dead shock perhaps? I really have no idea

shocks have nothing to do with ride height. the only purposes they serve is the rate that your suspension moves up and down.

and weird that it is leaning enough that its noticeable and its not the shackles. did it happen just all of a sudden or is this something that happened over time?

yea i dont know all that much about suspension. I guess that makes sense though

I've found that if the front coil spring on the corresponding side is weak and sagging some, its noticeable in the rear of the Rangers, thats what mine was like until about a week ago. From behind, it looked like the bed was lopsided, but the new coils brought the nose up to its proper height and its fixed now.

Mine was on the left side though, so unless your having insanely...large... people ride in the passenger seat 24/7, I dont see how that could be your problem.

well i did jump it about a foot last week so maybe a bowed out front coil?

ohhhhhh now that real story comes out lol. i would look over all your suspension parts and see if anything is unseated or just looks bent

Check for a cracked leaf?

My 02' Fx4 leans to the right.... I cannot find the source. Its like the bed is the only thing leaning though:icon_confused: Good luck!

If your truck has overload springs you could have lost one. (basically a coil spring on the axle to help the leaf springs)

i took the overload springs off about a year ago. i have the skyjacker leafs. haha no fat chicks allowed in my rig. i think i might put them back on tomorrow. and swap out the front coils and se if it helps

Before you go switching out the front coils, check to see if the right side is sagging more than the left... there should be a significant difference in ride height between the two corners if this is the case.

i think its the coils since i measured from tire to fender and the left side is 11" and the right side is 10"
