Last year in the spring (2015) I hit a poorly marked speed table in the dark. The impact seems to have hyper-extended the front-end components in my 2010 Ranger 4x4.
I had it realigned at the local dealership the next day, but since then it jumps out of alignment anytime I hit a hole. I can tell when it's out by the shudder when it rolls over minor rough spots or seams in the road. I've had the thing aligned 3 or 4 more times since the episode. The problem always shows up as a toe-in issue.
We moved over the summer and after I got resettled I found a front end shop near me. After talking with the tech I had a camber kit installed and that helped with the sense of it steering solidly, but after a hard bump - particularly if it catches the bump in a turn, the shudder and inner edge of the tire wear pattern always comes back.
Short of selling the truck, any suggestions on how to resolve this issue permanently will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance -
