I have been looking to buy some new tires that are relatively cheap for my truck. I found Goodyear Wrangler Radials at walmart for 65$. I hear they are being discontinued and that maybe they are not a good buy. Does anyone have any suggestions of what tires may be a good deal to buy for both on and off road. About 60-70% on road and 40-30% off road. Winters are pretty bad where I am from and I need something that will give me good traction with a light back end.

i like the dakota futura tires from pep boys. very similar to the bfg a/t at a whole lot less $. i use them as my winter tires and they absolutly eat snow.

I have 255/75-16 Widetrack Baja A/T's on my F-150, I have had them for 2 years and about 30k miles and really like them. Should still have about another 10k in them. I got them on a buy three get one free deal at a farm store, about $300 for the set.

Mine is the older style with the diamond shaped tread, the newer tires have a different curvier style.

Due to the farm store sales I see a bunch of them around, my brother has them on his F-150 and my dad has the newer style (but in a 10 ply flavor) on his F-350, they are a great tire IMO.

They are made by Peerless, which is part of Firestone.

I don't really have any good pictures of them, here you can kind of see what the tread on mine is like:

bfg allterrains.... or for the budget, general grabber a/t's(same basic design).

yeah i would go with the Grabber AT2's they work great on my truck. i have grip everywhere i go sand mud,wet road. As said above they are basically the same as the BFG AT's but cheaper. They don't perform any cheaper though.

Looks good I will go and price some tires.

Thanks

I have the same tires, but 31x10.5's i gotta say they are a really good tire for the price.
