Anybody go to, or going to any truck shows this year? Where & when?

I went to the 4Wheel Jamboree in Lima last year, but it seemed to be mostly fullsize rigs and guys wanting to make a lot of diesel smoke. I'm just wondering what other good shows are out there for mid-size trucks (for both lifted and lowered).

Usually....and my life has had considerable upheaval in the last few years...I go to car shows that have a truck category.

The 4WD folks like to get down and dirty and frequent tractor pulls and show their trucks in conjunction with local off road events. There are a few 4WD Rangers that make it to the 'car shows' but usually only the well advertised/attended events. Let me tell you, there are some awesome Rangers out there!

Time prevents me even going to anything out of my area.

I think there are some mini-truck shows that have lifted trucks, but i feel those are 'show trucks' that never get dirty, but I haven't actually been to one. My Ranger looks decent, but it's not a show truck. It may not look decent enough to fit it.

leave it muddy, you wont be able to tell :icon_twisted:

There's Carlisle All-truck Nationals in a few weeks.... Carlisle, PA. Its a huge event, over 2000 trucks in the judged field.

just missed Bloomsburgs 4wheel jamboree, pretty good mix of show trucks, beaters, and everything in between. excepted lowered trucks.

Jamboree at Indy. Went last year and took the ranger....cruised it with the half doors got alot of looks. Crawled up on a buddies jeep just to piss him off. Funny stuff right there.

Carlisle all ford nationals, 4x4 Jamboree in Bloomsburg, and multiple car shows every weekend around here. I usually end up going to the first two, and stop by the car shows every once in a blue moon. Most people around here dont know what they're looking at when they see my truck.

The Carlisle shows usually have a pretty good range of trucks.

We went to Plant City, Fl for the Strawberry Festival earlier this year. There was a nice car and truck show over there during the week. Hot rods, rat rods, lowered and lifted cars and trucks. Mostly vintage racers and hot rods from the late 60's and 70's. My wife and I drove my Ranger there. When we left the festival somebody put a few blue ribbons on my Ranger and left a note: "Man!!! Why did you not put this in the show'?? That made my day!!!

lol
