Truck Norris going against the big boys at the truck pull

I was going to block the rear end, but wasn't sure if the frame/rear axle would take all that stress. It's not any fun if you're pushing it off the track!

O yea, don't know how much it weighs. I know the top speed I hit was 10 MPH, and that's foot to floor. So it's heavy. It's towed there with a semi.

Good point on the frame, on my tractor it is all a big hunk of cast iron...

I am thinking I heard the sled I pulled (it didn't have a fancy cab on it like this one) was over 20k, they would add weight to it as the tractors got heavier too, dunno if that included the extra weight or if that was the bare sled.

Oh so it was just the empty sled, with no weight added to it?

I couldn't tell ya. I know it had some weights in it, but not sure. Generally, they just adjust the rate of climb as the classes go up. Much faster than adding weights for every class.

The class was the 6200 pound misfits. I had my truck weighted up to 5000 pounds to be in the 5,000 pound class, but they screwed up and ran me too early. I pulled in 4 Lo, down in 1st. Hit about 5k RPM's before it started slowing down haha.

Yup that is how they normally do it. Eventually though they get to a point they gotta add weight.

Good stuff man, how did you mount those super duty mirrors on there?
