Truck Norris going against the big boys at the truck pull

very cool. i was in crandon for the races all weekend. thats definitely a cool opportunity to get.

How much weight was on the sled?

Your poor leaf springs.

You need to repost this in "show us what your stock RBV is capable of". That completely rocks. Imagine lockers, better dirt track tires, and stiffer rear leaves.

x2! this is just nuts!!!

I've gotta Duratracs and a Powertrax no slip. Last year I pulled 237 feet without all that.

This year I had a hitch at the max height, stock sized Duratracs, and the Powertrax no slip. Made it 241 feet. Clearly have a power issue, haha.

WTF are those people laughing in the background? That's awesome dude.

It is hard to say if all that really helped you much or not, I antique tractor pulled for several years... a lot of it has to do with where the guy before you spun out and if you can avoid his holes. Sure they hit it with a scraper and packer... but all that does is hide the holes, the ground is never the same.

With a identical setup, I don't think I ever pulled the same length at the same track... just too many variables.

If you could find a way to stiffen the rear suspension you would get more weight transfer to your rear wheels, and more traction.

Speaking of memerable pulls, my favorite was when my uncle pulled my dad's 44 Massey (he had never ever driven it before) It pulled down to the point where you could count each time that big four cylinder hit... and spun out.

Kenne Belle twin screw sounds reaaaal good right about now. Along with a completely ported 4.0 from supersixmotorsports. i think 1300 HP would push you right along.

I agree. But trust me, I wasn't spinning out in other people's holes haha.

I was going to block the rear end, but wasn't sure if the frame/rear axle would take all that stress. It's not any fun if you're pushing it off the track!

O yea, don't know how much it weighs. I know the top speed I hit was 10 MPH, and that's foot to floor. So it's heavy. It's towed there with a semi.

Oh so it was just the empty sled, with no weight added to it?
