Truck Names

We really ought to sticky this thread or the "help me name my truck" thread. It seems like about once a month there's a new truck name thread, if it were a sticky all the names would be in one place. Maybe, just maybe, it would keep a new thread from popping up every month and fading away into nothing after a few days.

Anyway, ill shut up now

I do have some deja vu about this also

nope i rub her dash and call her sexy

Oh good....I was wondering if I needed help. I've been known to rub the dash too.

Took a while but i found it. Here's what i had to say in the help me name my truck thread:

Looks like an Earl to me.

My old half ton was called b*tch cuz it was a b*tch to drive, a b*tch to start, a b*tch to work on, you get the idea.

My project is Chknfkr cuz when its finished its gonna fck all the other chkn trucks out there. Was formerly a$$ when ryan first sold it to me, engine was dead so it had to be hauled around, the expression haulin a$$ was used and that was it for a while.

My dd is called George. Its a white '95 f250 psd, ryan called it the great white buffalo which is still its propper name, that was shortenned to gwb, which happens to be the initials of our former president, thus the nick name of George was born.

My cousins 3/4 ton chevy is called Donna because its red and has wide hips much like donna from that 70s show.

My wrecker overseas was called snatch because thats what it was used for.

Seriously, someone sticky this so i don't have to keep typing/copy & pasting all the time!!

My 85 ranger is called purple because that's what color it is. My 91 is the red rocket because its red and has 4.0 5spd in a regular cab short box. The 93 is ranger bob and I still don't know how it got that name buts its had it for the last 8 years. And I am glad Im not the only one to the rub the dash. I do all time in my 85 Just as I'm about to get stuck and tell it its OK if you don't make it and the usually enough to piss it off to get out.

Mine is named Rusty. He has cancer purty bad. The pass door has a fist sized rust hole where the lower mirror mount was. I suspect there is little rust flakes and flakes of paint from one side of this county to the other lol

the "B-2 BOMBER"

it is a B2, it is flat black like the B2 bombers, and it is a beast. however my roaring exhaust doesn't really keep in step with the "stealth" theme :icon_confused:

My 84 BII is called the "Wile E. Coyote Special" because it has ALOT of random parts from different vehciles on it that all work together to get the job "almost" done, just like Wile E. and his ideas. You know, things like a D-spark conversion that is lit by a (yea, shut yer mouth) G.M. HEI module that is bolted to the hinksink that I swiped from an old CD player, twin snorkel airfilter housing that I stole from an 85 5.0 GT, underhood light from a Nissan p-up, relay rack with 5 relays from a Dodge mini-van, you know, stuff like that. :D

yep the hei module is easier to find on the shelf just about anywhere, cheaper, smaller and just as good (if not better) than the duraspark module

mine is named Katie. there used to be this smoking hot blonde in my college dorm who has a red ranger, so.... it stuck. awkwardly enough, the real katie and my gf are now room mates.

Just think of the possibilities..:headbang:

My 2000 Ranger is 'lil Blue (my dad tagged it with the nickname not long after I first got it when it was sitting next to his F-350).

The 1989 F-350 dually dump is 'Ol Blue.

The 1994 F-350 is Blue

The '88 Bronco II Eddie Bauer is Sh!tbrick (because it proved to be a POS and rode like a styrofoam brick in a windstorm on the highway)

I tagged my '86 BII with Phoenix after the mythical bird that rises from it's own ashes since I planned on building a trail beater out of the truck, but now I'm starting to worry that it's not going to happen.

I'm still trying to come up with proper names for the rest of the fleet, which leaves me feeling guilty all the time when I drive one of the ones I haven't named yet.

My Dad's '79 F-150 is Baby. He's had it since it was brand new and he baby's the hell out of it, lol.

Mine is named Clifford too. I bought the truck and then talked to some people that knew the truck and the p.o. and told me it was named clifford and yes it is a big red dog.

My 83 250 is frampton because when it starts, it comes alive.
