Well Recently me and the guys went out off-roading, and yeah, I drove the truck at probably like 20 over a hill a few times (not beating on it too much just off-roading like it should be able to handle), but now I got a issue. The truck sits approximately 2 inches lower on the drivers side than the passengers!? I'm pretty sure I over compressed my new skyjacker soft ride lift coils...if so I don't know what I'll do. I know skyjacker is a great lift company but I'll be disappointed if I pull the coils off only to find out my new coils are shot...any one know any other possibilities?

typical.

do you have bump stops?

might just need to re arch the rear a bit and shim the coil a little too. no biggie unless it is the coil that is toasted...then a 100 or so.

Yeah the truck has bump stops, the truck doesn't seem to be leaning at all really in the rear...only in the front. If the coils are in fact toasted I'm going to find out a way to return them and get the 4" lift to get rid of all my suspension/alignment problems once and for all.

well. i am assuming you have 2 in lift coils?

i am assuming the bucket is fine and the coils are seated correctly.

if you have a lift, you need the heavier bump stops. i like the big block ones.

i dont run them because i dont jump my truck anymore...it has a d60 and leafs and is like 3600 on the front axle. but i still wreck the springs from wadding them up under bind loads so i been rethinking not having bump stops...

I would say check for a broken leaf in the left-rear spring even if it doesn't seem obvious it's the rear (Rangers already have a bit of a tendency to lean left normally, so a broken leaf would of course exacerbate it).

Skyjacker's coils are pretty good (they stress-relieve them by setting them to full coil-bind during manufacture), so I would be somewhat surprised to hear the coil was the culprit.
