Truck is making a Whining sound

apply 12 volts to the pump that will tell you which it is. i think you can just jumper with a long wire from the bat.

How many other Blown 98+ V-8s are there...?

I am aware of only 2, both have the ford centrifugal kit, but both are 4X4's any others, and any that are street trucks?

His is one of the 2 Centrifugals I was aware of, the other was a red supercab.

Got it fired up last night, Definitely has a distinct whining sound from the top of the motor now

Oh ok now you have it running you might want to see if it's the power steering pump whining. Remember watch out for sudden tire wear.

If the whining gets to be too much for you, I suggest you get a louder exhaust or louder stereo to mask it over.

Honestly, the blower is nearly silent under warm idle, you really only hear it howling over 3800RPM under WOT. My exhaust is no nonsense loud already (2.5 off the collectors to a 3 inch Y into a single flowmaster 40, and then out the pass side)
