truck is cutting out bad

89 ranger 2.9l cuts out super bad and i cant figure out what it is. i replaced almost the whole ignition system except for the distributor and coil i even got a new tfi module which i was positive thats what it was but i guess not. its getting worse everyday and i have no power what so ever and its pissing me off. im now moving on to the fuel system,maybe a bad fuel pump?? any ideas? cause im stumped.

Define "cuts out".

Conditional information would be good to have also. Does it do it at random, when you turn the lights on, when you accelerate, only going through 47* left hand turns at 75 MPH in reverse? That kind of thing.

I would try checking your fuel filter

Well, if it's doing what I think it's doing he needs to be checking his wiring. Particularly the positive battery cable going to the starter relay, and the neg cable.
