Truck Box Switch?

Well I finally got around to washing all the winter off my truck, and wish I didn't because I can now see all the rust that needs fixing. My question is, will a truck box off of a newer (hopefully rust free) shortbox ranger bolt on to my 86 shortbox frame?

I'm hoping to find a gen 2 truck with a rust free, or mostly rust free, box for the swap. Going by google pics, the body lines look to be mostly the same
