TRS Race Truck

Gambler looks really fun

I have been to most places on the Detroit run. Groveland Oaks is in the Holly area. There are a bunch gravel pits and such around there. We would slip into a couple of them have a bit of fun and get out... totally trespassing (I was in my early 20's). We run dune buggies all over the St. Helen/Rose City area for years and years. In between those two points are the best Coney dogs on the planet... I'll have three please no fries... AND... get this... the best Jerky and cheese shop I've ever come across.

I guess what I don't understand... is it a race? Do they crown a winner? Or is this some people doing crazy stuff and having fun?

Either way... I would help when I could... Donate the truck... Run support for the truck during the event... including handing off a sack of Coney Dogs hauling ass up I-75.

I think between you and I we could cover at least Jersey and PA for lemons. Sounded like Eric may be in for part of the South as well.

I think we may be able to pull this off...

Looking at Lemons schedule... There are 4 races in the north east (NJ, PA, NH, and CT). I could probably do all 4 of them. The farthest one is 6 hrs away.

Looking into Gamblers 500, it looks like they have franchises in different areas. There’s different websites for different states. It’s disorganized as fu<k. Maybe we could get them to reorganize themselves in a subsection of our forum... that would bring in more site traffic... the whole point in this thread.

Speaking of thread points, someone should split the racing topic out into its own thread. I would but I'm not sure about doing that on my phone, and, well, I am supposed to be working right now.

Yeah, I would not recommend doing it on a phone...

I'm down to do anything I can, as long as it's in the SOUTH. 3-4 hours from ATL, so this is doable for me. I would love to get my hands on some of this action, but anything West of the Mississippi River is out of my range. Build it and do a West coast race, then we can get it out here and do some East coast stuff with it. Should we set up TRS chapters, like SouthEastern USA, SouthWestern USA, NorthEastern USA NothWestern USA, and the Middle America USA. and then maybe each Chapter can get together, at least once a year, and share notes & Ideas with each other, and possibly build a Ranger for each chapter. (pipe dreaming, I know)

I may not be much of a builder but i sure as hell can drive.

It looks like most of this stuff is way out east...

There’s a Lemons race in Braselton GA.

It isn't lemons. It's Le Mans. Like the Pontiac.
