there you go. pics of the 96 F-350 crewcab dually with a 'stroke that I paid $7500. Came from Oregon and is 99% rust free. The tail is not green and is damaged and the bed is rusty. He kept his 5th wheel hitch. Truck is clean and fast as hell.

I like the running boards ....... don't care for the chicken lights on the running boards though. The last owner was 30 y/o. the original owner was some girl from oregon.

unless my speedometer is off, I got 4.56 gears.

LT235/85/16 @55mph @1900ish rpm with e4od (.71 OD) I came up with 4.56 gears.

nice.. that's a big truck... my b2 would fit in the bed of that thing! lol.
i say it needs a good clean up; a new towing tailgate; a hypertech tuner (or one like it); and rock it! its nice.. i like it.

first project is rear disk brakes and electric over hydraulic brakes.
then possibly 4wd conversion (jury still out on that)

nope, that grill is a dealer installed option along with the lights. so are the running boards and chicken light. the switch for the lights is mounted on a switch panel above the brake controller. Still don't know what that switch is for. That actually concerns me.




it goes to the alarm............. the boy child just set it off and its the kill switch......... gonna need to do something about that.

I have been told that tuners don't work well with pre-99 'strokes. but there are some easy fuel system mods I can do.

The SCT Tuner works well with the OBS Powerstrokes. Also you can chip it with a ts 6 position chip or Dp Tuner or Tony Wildman has some good chips also. As far a fuel mods you can do the dual super duty electric fuel pump mod, upgrade the HPOP for Bigger Injectors then upgrade the turbo to handle the extra power your getting. Also if you chip or tune the truck make sure you've got gauges to monitor the EGT's and Transmission temps(ESPECIALLY if you have an automatic) possibly look at an intercooler to keep the tranny temps down.
