TRS Dearborn Michigan Meet & Greet

It occurred to me that if anyone who is coming wants a 2.0 core (it runs but needs work), I can lug that along with me.

I also have a bunch of stuff bought for the 2.0 which my 2.3 won't need (certain gaskets, water pump, fuel pump and others) which I can bring if someone wants them. Shoot me a private message if interested.

Also if anyone attending happens to enjoy junkyards, Detroit and surrounding area has some excellent ones which will be open on Sunday, so that's a possible thing to do prior to Ford's Garage. Photos are heavily biased towards my other models of vehicle but there's an album here.

That would be perfect if I could carry things back with me on the plane. Been meaning to find time for some junkyard hunting.

From my going somewhere and junkin' experience it might be better to go after you eat. Usually I am a greaseball after a good day of junkin'.

I love scavenging through salvage yards

I am currently traveling in Alabama with my 1998 Ranger, but am trying to return early and move some scheduled events, so I can drive my white 1988 Bronco II to attend the Meet and Greet (Ranger must stay in AL for the winter). Thanks for planning such a great event! Hope to see you there!

If a local (maybe not me - border considerations) is willing and trusted, there's always shipping as an option. But the same sorts of things that are too big to conveniently carry on a plane are also too big to conveniently ship usually.

Agree this is usually the case but if it's just a walk-through to survey what's there, cleanliness is usually preserved.

The meet and the junkyard hours somewhat conflict so if anyone wanted to go, they should go before.

Well...my recommendations are:
Parts Galore (all 3 locations, but W. Warren Ave tends to have more Rangers usually). PG locations take a dollar as an admission fee.
Ryan's Pick-a-Part. $2 admission fee.
U-Pull & Save in Pontiac (bit of a hike). $2 admission fee.
