really? because by that standard, united states must be freaking tiny, and Russia must be just ok in size...

you realize that Canada is the second largest country in the world, right? behind only Russia, which is nearly double the size of any other country... United States is ranked 4th...

i'm going to go and guess that you were taught that the United States was bigger than Canada and Russia combined?

if you get it edmonton my friend will bring it to ontario.

that would be awesome, except there are people up north that need to see this before it goes east, the easiest way to get it up there, that i can see is up north through edmonton, west out to prince george, north to the yukon and alaska, then PROBABLY back the way it came to edmonton

and remember, to this point, it hasn't been transported in ANYTHING but an RBV, so if he's driving a corolla... would kinda kill it...

But hey, it's not necessarily the Toyota that breaks the chain, it's the TRS member handoff.

I can understand an 8 hour drive in a 17mpg BroncoII versus a 32mpg Corolla, especially if expenses are tight and you are the sole transporter between TRS-ers.

RBV is the ONLY way to go. me and him drove that from toronto to edmonton 2 months ago where he lives now. i can get you his info if you like, hes not on here much. think his user name is sloth sauce, but his name is mike.

cute you guys have matching trucks... i agree... i'll give you a shout when the time comes, i want to co-ordinate with northern people, and the alaskans before we start going east, there's some very important people that need to have this thing, including a (couple?) of mods and Gwaii (not to say anyone else is less important)

and short of an alaskan cruise, i don't see this getting up there any other way...

Remember what we were talking about in the Rep Thread? You quoted Wikipedia, which means I can't trust the information that Russia is a country. Isn't it an island somewhere near the Indian Ocean? They make what...uh, *snaps his fingers*...vodka, right? I hear that works as good antifreeze, too.

i said you knew you were getting the best information possible... and btw, i DO trust 90% of the content on wiki to be accurate, the screening to change things, and the logging that they do, and the moderation of changes is quite heavy...

Yea. I actually do frequently trust Wikipedia, I was just kidding. I use it to look up car specs, curb weights, and motor configs all the time. I actually used it as a quick reference while I was getting my engineering degree for certain formulas (when I didn't have my books around). It is rather useful.


I think the only exception that should be made is to RSH. There's no way anyone is willing to cross that many borders for a single signature, and Honduras is not a common vacation destination. Being a top contributor (*ahem* addict), he should be allowed to put his chicken scratch on the Banner. We could all pitch $ in for shipping, too.

Anyways, I hope this Banner gets moving again.

Hey, Weezl's twisting my arm in another thread (kidding!), but I'm driving out of Juneau, Alaska in about two weeks. I'll be driving through Haines, and Skagway, and then through Whitehorse and down toward Bellingham, Washington. Unfortunately for the Canadians, while I AM driving my Ranger, I'm not driving back through Canada, since I'm moving. So, if we can get the banner pretty much anywhere in Southeast Alaska, I'll take it to Whitehorse (I think MountainMike is there, isn't he?), or swing through to a member who's close on my way down.

I mean, if it comes to it, I can pick it up from someone in Washington and drive it up to Vancouver or something. I like driving, and if my truck can take it than I for sure as hell can.
