Gonna leave outta here in the trusty 2000 with a load of snacks and drinks, confirmed to meet with dhkonrad and wildbill23c in Boise, ID on the 24th for signing! Then to Pocatello ID and overnight in hotel, and meet Spott the morning of the 25th to pass off the Banner!
Then a casual drive back to the Northwest and home (more snacks and drinks).
So, less than a week, 2 more dayshifts of training and 2 nightshifts repairing the mill and it's on the move lol!!!

Can't wait to meet up with you guys next week. Been driving the B2 around town and back and forth to work since Monday evening. So far so good. Just got my spare tire mounted today. Can't believe how much nicer it rides with new tires and an alignment. Next up will be the exhaust, then on to start tackling the rust issues.

I'll bring my camera, or well I will hopefully remember to bring my camera, the camera on my phone sucks LOL.

Per wildbill: Seriously you really think this is all gonna happen overnight? The banner has to move by hand across the country it isn't gonna happen very quickly. Not everyone is rich enough to be able to travel. Some of us actually don't even have time off work to get out of the town they live in let alone drive cross country to move a banner. Relax.

PS: Many people that have RBV's here in the west aren't even members on this site. According to the map there's no one around my area either. Remember the Northwest isn't as populated as the rest of the country. Us people in the west have to work for a living, most of us don't have time off that we can travel. Myself I rarely get out of the town I live in. By the time I get off work in the afternoon the last thing I want to do is deal with the moron drivers just to drive 30 miles to the next town, its totally not worth it.

Next week when I meet Tuner710 will be the first time I've been out of Emmett in a couple months. At a $700 a month income I don't go very far at all. You guys that are getting all worked up over this banner need to step off your pedestal and back to the reality that the economy sucks for many people, don't you think that we would love to be able to just jump in our cars and drive for days to move the banner around? I would have loved to drive to Washington when it was up there and move it but that would have been more gas than I make in a paycheck. Seriously step back to reality and realize that not everyone is rich, not everyone can afford to travel.

Per me: "You talkin to ME?!?! Whyyyyy.....I oughta.......!!!!

(I feel for you....I'm just trying to inspire all those members who were foaming at the mouth 17 months ago to hold up their end of the deal)

Haha....Well its not gonna happen overnight that's no lie. Seems like a lot of members have fallen on hard times, or busy working to keep their jobs. It kind of sucks the way the economy is. I'd really like to jump in the truck and move the banner but my bank account says otherwise. Unfortunately I live in an area where there aren't any members for hundreds of miles, and to drive to meet other members is hard due to my hours at work.

Hopefully by this time next week the banner will be well on its way out of the area its been stuck in for quite some time.

where is the banner at now? I live in Oregon City, Or and travel to Boise area of Idaho at least once a month. leaving this Sunday and will be there till Oct 15th

The banner will be in Boise on the 24th of September. Tuner710 is bringing it down from Washington I believe is where it is at. He's stopping in Boise so a couple of members can see the banner and do a small meet up that evening, then he will be driving to Pocatello to pass the banner on.

If you are willing and able to drive up to Idaho, that would be great. If you can't, I will not let this banner sit for too long. If I have to get on my bicycle and take it down to SLC and put it in your hot little hand, I will keep this banner moving.

Let me know what you can afford, and we'll proceed from there.

bajaboy, 24th Sept 5:30 PM at exit 46 off I-84 if you want to sign the Banner on this pass. Or about 8:00 AM 25th Sept in Pocatello.
Have to get some members lined up for spott and beyond, into Utah oughta work. You just have to be willing to make a plan and expend a little effort ( or a lot on some members parts ). If you browse through and read the Banner thread you may see why we don't want to let the Banner fail. It has been too far, and back and forth, and through many members hard efforts and planning it will reach the end of the trail in Florida!
Better find a path down into Loweezyanna for doorgunner, he has been cheering this thing for, well, years!
