Of course its gonna move. Had a hitch in its get-along but we have a plan. And we reigned in Lima Bean so we aren't having to look over our shoulders...right??
Took the 2000 in to Les Schwab today and had the front end looked over, alignment set so it doesn't pull right now. Got the time off work for the 24th set, confirmed and sworn in blood even if the mill implodes or is hit by a meteorite. Ready for about 1500 miles trip, half of that with the Banner.
End point Pocatello Idaho, spott, check your PM for a message. I really want to drive the older Ranger cause it looks like a clone to spotts, right down to the paint, but I don't trust it that far yet and it lacks creature comforts like AC, headrests and a good sound system lol.
Got a meet in Boise, hoping I can meet 2 members there.

Well if you hit the Boise area anytime after about 5:30-6pm on the 24th or the 25th I'll gladly meet up with you in Boise to at least sign the banner and let you move it on its way. Too bad you didn't come through about 2 weeks ago I could have met with you in Twin Falls, unfortunately it wouldn't have been in my B2 though as its been sitting sadly in the corner of my driveway for about 2 months now awaiting funds for the alignment and camber kit. I did get the new wheel bearings installed myself last weekend.

I'm gonna make up a few business card type things to start passing around to people I see in town with RBV's. That is unless there's a restriction on using the Forum name to advertise it. Gotta remember and bring my camera along as well at least to get photo evidence that I was there and got to sign and see the banner.

BY THE WAY.....Have you ever worked near the exhaust manifold in an emergency/got to get it fixed-situation---had ONE bolt left to install in a tight tricky spot----and didn't want to let go until the bolt was started with your fingers while the meaty part of your palm was against the hot exhaust maniflod...errrr....-fold..............................................huh huh huh??????

Well I just messaged Tuner710 back regarding meeting with him on the 24th to sign the banner. I won't be able to make it over there as I just found out more bad news on the alignment fiasco on my B2 this afternoon. Turns out Les Schwab didn't bother to do a complete inspection like they claimed they did when I had it in 2 months ago for the alignment and tires. So I go back Monday to pick it up and bring it home so it can set the rest of the year.

SRich, wouldn't have done any good. Banner was still in Nevada in July. I didn't get it in Spanaway until 16th August. Been working on a plan to move it East since then. Of course this time of year work is busy and I have a week of Hazmat training I couldnt reschedule so I set the 24th Sept as the Banner move date. Put out a few calls for anyone wanting to sign on between here and Idaho in this thread.

Hey Turner710, just PM'd you back, I'm hanging in there, and after talking with my mom I'm gonna get the Bronco 2 finished this week. Its already at the shop so mom said get the damn thing fixed, and you just don't argue with my mom so I'm gonna get it done this week. So see you on the 24th at the Eagle Exit Chevron.

Haha, get your truck put together geez, stop procrastinating. Yes, add yourself to the map. Anyone can volunteer that is a member and owns an RBV I believe. This banner has been stalled out several times in the past, and seems like over here in the West there just aren't enough people travelling around to help pass the banner, course there are a lot of us who can't afford leaving town which don't help matters any.

The Banner should hit Florida by...IDK when LOL.
