TRS Banner Across North America 2012 - Alaska to Key West Florida (OFFICIAL)

If everyone was like the Alaska/Canada crew, the banner would have been to Key West already and a member would be rowing a boat to the Bahamas just for photos.

Some of the regional forums also have a "members by location" list with members listed by state. If you are trying to recruit members to help move the banner it might not hurt to look for them in there. I'd only ask those who are frequent active members, but it is another source for potential candidates.

I just got Turner710's PM about the banner. I'm surprised this hadn't moved on any further east already. Last time I checked on it and offered to help, it was supposed to be heading south into Cali.

I'd still be willing to help move it but now I have a very short window of time to work with. I also start the fall semester this Monday (Aug 26th) but I will be travelling down to Pueblo, CO for Labor Day weekend. If someone can get the map to me before I have to leave I can move the banner down into Colorado and pass it off to someone around there.

I'll try to keep tabs on this thread but with school starting I may have a lot of other stuff on my mind. I haven't been on TRS much lately so PM's would be better to contact me with.

EDIT: After looking at the map, if I go straight I-15 south, I see a couple members in ID (Spott) and UT (deathstar182) on that route. Or if I go I-90 East to I-25 South, there are a couple of members around the Denver/Loveland area (1988dangerranger and gerdone52). If any of those members still want it, speak up soon. I'll be heading to Pueblo next weekend with or without the banner, and probably won't be able to get out that way again for quite a while with school going on.

My budget's kinda tight, dunno what I can scrape together for gas money, but I'll do what I can. If there's any travel on I-15 anywhere near the stretch from Pocatello to Mud Lake, or US-20 between Arco and Island Park, I'll certainly be there.

I can travel as far west as Missoula sometime this week (Wednesday to Friday) for a meet-up with someone to pick up the banner. Currently it looks like I'll be heading to Pueblo Saturday morning and driving back to Montana Monday morning.

Unfortunately Boise is quite a bit out of the way for the direction I need to be heading next weekend.

Tuner710: If you can keep the PM's flying and get some kind of a schedule together for people and places, I'll do what I can to make it happen next weekend.
