Hey all, I've got a buddy with a salvage yard that has an '04 Ranger that I'd like to see/hear run. It's had the immobilzer ring messed with, and the wiring's pulled out of it's plug. If I plug the individual wires into their respective places in the other side of the connector (the body harness), the security light comes on and stays on solid. If I put another immobilizer ring over the head of the key while it's in the ignition, and plug it in to the harness, the light flashes every few seconds. Can anybody direct me how to get past this, and what each of these conditions mean?
