TRS Event TRS 25th Anniversary Fall Adventure - Land Between The Lakes - September 5th – 8th, 2024

I registered last night for myself to be there. Have to look on the campsite and find a spot. Wife and daughter may come for a visit.

Also the items that we get for registering, do we get those at the event or are they mailed to us?

I'm trying to keep the attendance list up to date. I think it's pretty accurate currently.

Not sure how many in @bobbywalter party though.

If anyone that's coming does not see themselves or number of additional people in your party... please make a post so the list can be updated.

Thank you!

I’m sure Jim will bring that stuff to the event.

Ok, thought so just making sure in case I needed to be watching the mail for it.
I still need to reserve a camping spot.

Edited to add, I finally saved picture of the campsite and they do have it. Camping spot 1-12 are they primitive? With or without water and electric?

Sites 1-12 are tent camping spots with water and electric.

Primitive campsites are not numbered and have no utilities. They are right across the road (looking to the left on the campground map) from sites 1-12. The primitive sites are not delineated individually. Those of us who use them just fill in however we feel like doing it.

Ok, thanks I had to save pic to my phone to zoom in and check it out.

I just reserved the same site I had last year. Tent site 2 with electric and water. Seems that large empty spot next to it worked well for the fire and pizza night... so thinking we might as well do it again this year.

Did you have to pay extra to reserve an exact spot?

I don't believe so... but I honestly don't know.

Only the sites with electric and water need to be reserved specifically. The primitive sites don't have numbers... just a bunch of open space. Then you get in where you can...

Awesome, thanks!

Justin is trying to get the ranger fixed up for the overlanding with Oliver’s help. It’s been slowing going with the constant weather.

Gump, keep me in the loop on numbers for biscuits and gravy. I think dad is gearing up with his sausage gravy. I need to figure out biscuits. I really need to get the biscuit recipe from the hospital as they are some of the best biscuits I’ve ever eaten.

Tapping into the phone discussion, as long as your phone is 5G/LTE capable, all towers are basically Verizon now and everyone pays them to use their towers. We did pretty good for the most part. I do agree there are some spotty issues when going through the park.

So I maybe getting a topper for my Ranger in a day or two. Wondering about the tent sites, if I save one of them but sleep in the back of the Ranger? Not sure how that would work. Or maybe still get a tent and bring it. Thoughts and opinions from folks that have been to this camp site.

Any place that I have been didn't care as long as you stay within the confines of your site and don't bring a camper to tent sites. Tho I suppose that could be considered a camper depending on how you read the rules.

I wonder about the specific site number myself. I asked when making reservations and was told I'd be assigned a spot upon arrival.
