How has it been?

Think someone will need to bring hip waders so we can easily tie onto @fastpakr's truck to drag it out of the river after he hydrolocks it or is it going to be drier than a popcorn fart and easy going pretty much everywhere like last year?

Lots of rain in the 14 day...

I always have chest waders with me when I take my SxS anywhere. Sometimes you just get the urge to drive through a lake.

so far for august we have had a week of humid hot mess and some normal august weather (hot) and a week of nice upper 70s/ lower 80s with no humidity... Nights have got down to the upper 60s. In those weeks several rain storms (one yesterday)

if someone brings their hip waders, I can bring a yardstick and they can go out and measure how deep it is before @fastpakr hydrolocks his truck...

That forecast looks nice. But I don’t trust a weatherman more than 7 days out.

I barely trust a weatherman to forecast the next 7 hours.

Let's be real... if this thing is finally running and I make it all the way to Indiana, I am NOT jinxing it by driving into a puddle I can't see the bottom of. The last four years of this project have been absolute madness and I will -not- be ready to dive back into it any time soon.

well with that thing, fire should not be a problem. itis surrounded by water. with a big enough hole punched in it, the inside can be surrounded by water as well.

Anybody have an M5ODR2 from a 97-03F150 4.2 they want to get rid of (and bring to Indiana)? Converting to a 5 speed is probably the next phase of the Ranger's evolution.
