TRS 2021 Fall Off-Road Round-Up

Anybody have an M5ODR2 from a 97-03F150 4.2 they want to get rid of (and bring to Indiana)? Converting to a 5 speed is probably the next phase of the Ranger's evolution.
I have a small block ZF 5 speed for a 4x4 that just need an adapter housing... the trans mount ears are busted off.

I've been wondering if @Will is going to show since he's close. He hasn't been online since 04/02/21.

Good point, @Jim Oaks . Has anybody spoken to him recently? That's a little odd for him to disappear for so long.

What about @bobbywalter ? He hasn't been around a lot lately either.

If I remember correctly, he was pretty angry around that time.

IDK. The very last thing he posted was about this garhering:

"I plan on being there. In a Toyota. Locked front and rear on 35s. It's what I drive everyday. My '83 Ranger project won't be done by then. My '83 Ranger project is mostly GM parts."

He's got a lot of kids that keep him busy, and he occasionally disappears from the forum from time to time.

Maybe one of these times I'll make it out there. Not sure if I want to drive the Ranger 3,000 miles there and back; the seats aren't that comfy

Uncle cocktail onion.

For what it's worth, I have a few RBV parts I could bring to the roundup if anyone is interested:
2wd 4R70W from a '99 Explorer
4wd 3.0 auto trans (4R44?)
BW1354 electronic shift
80's 5.0 w/ an AOD attached - I was told it ran at the time but didn't end up needing it/testing it.
I should have a 7.5 complete axle with 4.10's as well. Just need to pull it to toss in the 8.8 before heading to Indiana.

A few other odds and ends if I dig around. Gauge cluster from my '99 Ranger, etc.

Where are you going to put your camping gear?

AJ

LOL - I'll figure that out if people actually want any of the stuff listed. Definitely not planning to load it all into the truck unless there's someone looking for it.

For just two of us, we can easily fit our gear into the back of the cab anyway.

This is the wifey with the non-existent Bronco (she’ll be at the roundup next year fingers crossed). Are there any plans for suppers?

@JohnnyO are you going to make it this year?

We should get you your own account on here.

To answer your question, I plan on eating suppers.

Just don't know what they'll be yet.

He set up a mrs. 85_ranger4x4. But didn’t divulge the password. I was going to offer up to make pizza dough for homemade campfire pizzas if everyone wants to bring their favorite toppings. Was thinking maybe Friday night and then Saturday find a restaurant to try??
