Seriously... maybe a rear hitch recovery point and weld a tab on it for a flag?

The downside would be if you want to open the tailgate... the flag would need to be removed.

I have one of those in my truck to fill receiver when I'm not towing. Also my bed cover keeps me from using a clamp because it has rails on the inside so cover sets flush. I'm gonna have to get creative when it comes to mounting a flag. I dont have a CB whip since there is no radio installed in truck. I like the suggestions just probably not gonna work in my application. Can I get one of you to ride and just hold it out the window for me haha. Well except @Blmpkn If he's gonna be oderizing the place haha

Hello hello. I’d bring my 93 Splash 4x4, but I sold it 9 years ago. Same with my 98 2wd XLT. And hey @snoranger, remember that 94 Splash we parted out back in like ‘07?! Any of those parts still laying around?!

One of the utility companies came down my street yesterday while I was at work. The cut back all the trees, away from the wires. They left all the branches on the side of the road, on my property. (They do this every other year, you get used to it.)
It gave me a chance to try out the new Milwaukee toy I bought last week:

It’s a M12 mini chainsaw w/ a 6” bar. It worked out perfect. It kinda surprised me how well it cut, I figured it would be underpowered only using the m12 battery.

Now that I got that out of the way, let’s slowly get to the point of my post...
As I start cutting up these batches, some of which are 6-8” in diameter, I start thinking about what to do with them. I figured I’d just burn them in my fire pit. Then I look over at my SxS that I’m loading the stuff into the back of and I remembered last years trail ride. No one brought any firewood and we had to buy it all from the little shop at the campground.

I type all of this out just to say:
Everyone that’s planning on camping with us, try to bring some firewood. You don’t need to go nuts and fill your truck. If everyone brings a little, that should be enough. We can always buy a few bundles if we need it.

I know Michigan fire wood wasn't suppose to leave the county... it was really all about the Emerald Ash Borer.

I'm not sure about the regulations in Indiana...

Yep, indiana is one of those states. I don't think you will be stopped at the border and thrown into the local pokey with a toothlesseth addict that comments on how purty your mouth is... but you should be aware..

I’m seeing notices about that down here in the Carolinas when I go camping these days. Kinda stinks since some places charge way more than I want to spend for firewood. But I’m not going to haul firewood from SC all the way to Indiana either. I’ll pay for a bundle at the campground to chip in.

1st I have that same chainsaw. My batteries are old and warm out and after a while the 6 inch cut gets old. I've been looking at the M18 version. Think it has a 12 inch blade. Would be way more convenient when having to cut a real log.

2nd all the campgrounds in Tennessee want you to have heat treated or local firewood. Something about pest control. We just buy it at the campground normally but sometimes catch someone on the we selling local wood. It's always 5 dollars a bundle at the campground. Can usually get 2 for 5 at locals. I have a full stack out by the firepit but will not carry it. I will just buy some there and chip in.
