TRS 2021 Fall Off-Road Round-Up

Not too sure about these new Ford's lately.

I can tell... by how you trailer your new one around with your old truck...

I don't like pulling a loaded trailer untill I have a few hundred miles on the diff....I stop and check pinion temps and hub/carrier every 50 or so... the 2500 gm weighs about 2300 more then the ford with the gear that is in it.

But if the temps stay good Then I look at some fluid.

If it's good it's good.

If it's not good....it goes very very bad fast.

No one available to haul me out to it to drive it back.....3.5 hrs away


Our powerboost at least made it two months before the screen and dash started blacking out. So far it's not quit....and left her stranded. It's much nicer then this 250. But the 250 is my assigned shop truck. If it chucks an ac unit in the first year....it's getting shit canned for a dodge.

I have a friend owns a small hot tap company. He swapped from ford to dodge about a decade ago.

I do not have to do too many hot taps..... But been in some bad situations dealing with em ... so those guys got some brass
