Actually as soon as it leaves the lot it is used... don't worry it!

I thought it had to be titled or registered in someone’s name to be considered used... it doesn’t have a title ( just a manufacturer certificate of ownership) and I’ll be damned if I’m going to pay $42 to the state of New Jersey to register something that I can’t legally ride on state land. (Even though they were supposed to use that money to open a legal riding area years ago.)

As much as we wanted to be there this year and hang out with y’all, this year isn’t going to work out.

A couple of years ago, before I put the bigger coolers on, I got that C4 pretty hot and hurt it more than I thought. Took it to Colorado in July and killed it, no forward gears……. Just reverse. So, I’ll rebuild it when I can, hope to see y’all next year.

Oh, and to touch on the meal thing……..there are only 3. Breakfast, dinner, and supper. Drives my wife nuts, she’s from Ohio.

Just do all the trails in reverse.

It will be cool to watch, and when we put a video together, we'll just play your part backward so you're going forward.

Too far out for a good forecast but temps are averaging low 80s for the highs and mid to low 60s at night right now.

I wouldn't mind it a bit cooler. But not quite as cool as last year. Although I just bought a new 0degree sleeping bag and I wrote "jacket, hoodie & coat" on my packing list earlier this evening.

Low 60's will be like a dream, its been cooling down to about 80 here lately.

Thought I was going to have my fur-coverd, 4-legged sleeping bag warmer with me this year. But she is recovering from an ear problem and has a vet appointment that Friday. So She is staying in SC.

I was waiting until I had a better grip on my schedule for trail ride weekend. I had a conflict with a wedding of one of my past store managers daughter getting married on the 10th. My wife RSVP'd saying we would attend... and being that we haven't done anything in like a year together... I figured I should go and keep peace at home. Besides... I love my wife and she really doesn't ask me to do to many things like this. But as of today Illinois has implemented a statewide mask mandate and is back to limiting gathering sizes I think we may be cut from the event. Official word of that hasn't come yet but I feel like if it doesn't come we still my opt out of it anyway. The last thing I want to do is go hang out with 150 folks I don't know in an enclosed space.

But anyway... my plan was to just drive over Saturday and just hang out in the campground and enjoy the campfire with everyone. I probably won't even make it out to the trails Saturday... but I'm totally interested in the whole pizza party Saturday evening. I have access to a bunch of pizza supplies/fixings and was already trying to figure out how to make it happen. I think @Mrs. Eighty Five should PM me and maybe her and I can coordinate how to make this happen if the group is interested in the idea. More to follow once her and I speak.

Also... not showing up until Saturday... I'm going to need you fellas to save me a spot to pull my truck in and park it. I really want to stay with the group and not be down the road and around the corner from everyone.

I probably won't even set up my easy up to camp so the space doesn't need to be that big. However I may bring it and set it up for a place to make and serve pizza if everyone wants to do pizza on Saturday night.

I'm excited to see everyone next weekend! Things are coming together on the truck. I've got a giant punch list of small stuff, but only a few things that actually -need- to be done before the trip. The rest are nitpick/cosmetic things that can happen whenever. Engine and trans are doing well and the Explorer axle with the new Torsen is finally in.
