hello im new to this so bare with me i have a 97 ranger 3.0L and the engine spun 4 bearings due to a leak in the oil pan at the time there werent any 3.0 engines i could find i ended up gettin a 3.0L from a 94 aerostar automatic and i swapped everything on my engine to it wireharness and all ive had clutch problems ever since.. i bought a new flywheel, clutch set, master and slave cylinder and i just didnt have a clutch. I bleed it every way ive read one here how to and nothing worked i even bench bled it 3 times so i took it to a garage they tried a new master and it did nothing and they replaced my slave and still nothing so i got it home and dropped the tranny again and i took the reinforcement plate i think thats what its called from the automatic flywheel and shimmed my clutch with it it worked very well except i still had to bleed it every 2 weeks cuz i would eventually not be able to get it into gear it got to where it was every week and then every 2 days it would worked perfect when i did bleed it but i got tired of it so i dropped the tranny again and i was looking on advance auto parts website where i got my clutch from and it said my clutch fits on 95 to 2000 ranger and a different clutch was on the 94 to 95 ranger i was wondering what changes were made from 94 to 95 as to why the clutches are different was the crankshaft changed for the new flywheel? do u think i may need the clutch for the 94 ranger and also why would i need to bleed it all the time i have no leaks in the system my slave dont leak either maybe its sucking air i dont know whats goin on please help me out its been goin on like this for about 6 months now thanks alot!
