trouble codes

getting some troubel codes on the reader.
got p9601
and p932

any takers?

Can you gives us a description of the codes? The reader should give you a short description as well as the code number.

well i used my tunner cause it gives me code read outs. i would think that thier the same codes that obd II uses.

No doubt their the same numbers, but you cant expect us to have the thousands of code numbers memorized.

But diagnostics readout usually gives a short description in addition to the code. Like this:

"P1443 Auxilliary Emissions Controls"
"P0302 Cylinder #2 Misfire"
"PO304B2 Random Multiple Misfire Detected"

(the last one is one I saw recently...made me raise an eyebrow on that number, lol)

If your feeling froggy, google search for OBDII Code Definitions. Somewhere along the line someone might have a list of the codes and their definitions.

ya well im thinking that its might have to do with the face that i recently altered the shift points and the codes match up with transmission codes so im guessin along those lines

When it comes to Transmission stuff, I'm defintely not who you should be talking to, haha.

MAKG and AllanD usually have some pretty good ideas when it comes to Transmission stuff.

okay well the second one is acctually P0932 not p932. the code reads for P0932 Hydraulic Pressure Sensor Circuit

The first one is not an existable code. they only go up to p3497. are you sure its not P0961 or somethinng? click Here to check them out yourself. your code reader should have a little booklet that tells you what each code stands for.
