Does anyone know what the purpose of the clutch triple function switch is?I am still having a problem with my 2.9 stalling occasionally. I have checked the mitchells wiring diagram and it looks like the black and white wire that seems to be the ground from the ECM runs through this switch to the MAF TPI and other sensors and I am wondering if this switch could be failing causing the truck to shut down Any Thoughts THANKS

i know on my 2.3l this switch was the cause of a low idle problem i was having, when depressing the clutch the idle would drop 200 rpms so we removed one of the wires from the switch, but it was so long ago i dont remember which one. what are the conditions when the truck stalls? is it up to temp and running fine and then randomly stalls or is it only when its cold out, give us some more back ground info.

The truck will randomly stall it may run great for a hour or maybe only 15 minutes and it would always start back up but not neccisarily after it cooled down like a TFI problem it really was acting like a loose wire or a bad ground and I do remember having a problem starting the truck unless the clutch was slammed to the floor
