Ok guys,
I have just did a straight swap of a 3.0L to a 3.0L. My 1998 2x4 truck has 187,000 when i did the exchange. It was due to the engines crankshaft sensor gear going out, and my oil pump stop pumping oil frying the engine.
The engine swap went pretty easy. but now the transmission will not engage.
I have clean all connectors and double checked all connections. The engine will start in N and in P. and the rear tires lock up in P.
What have i missed? is my tran fried?
