Transmission/Transfer case or??

Hi all! Have a '94 Ranger 4WD with 5 speed manual trans. All has been great until day before yesterday.
Truck seems OK until trying to accelerate hard, pulling hard, then hear a grinding(?) noise, and truck stops pulling!
Took trans out, clutch, pressure plate look fine. Removed top from trans, everything is clean and see no damage!
TOTALLY CONFUSED, not sure if could be transfer case, but could sure use some advice or insight! No beginner, but this is a new one on me

Has electric t-case. Also, truck was originally an automatic, I swapped it over to manual, but has always worked fine, have had no trouble.

fluid level on trans? could have lost input shaft.

Sounds to me like you gobbled up something in the t-case. The driveline goes from the transmission to the t-case input shaft and then out the back (with a bunch of stuff running off that shaft) sort of like an intermediate driveshaft.
