transmission,t case swapp

hey i have a 1990 with a electric t case and a shot a4ld. i also have 1986 with a bad motor.it has the manual t case and a good a4ld.would this be a bolt in exept for maybe some drive shaft issues. also the 1990 is column shift and the other is floor shift will this matter

2.9 in the 86 and 4.0 in the 90

As far as everything I've read for my manual trans swap, the 2.9 and 4.0 are interchangeable.

I read somewhere that in 87 Ford added another solenoid to the A4LD. Might wanna look into that.
