Transmission slipping O/D Light flashing

Just got back from the dealership. They told me everything is OK with the transmission, but got a code http://engine-codes.com/p0735_ford.html
They reset it and said it should be ok now. If it did it again to bring it back.

On my Mountaineer (4 speed 4R70W) I had a similar thing happen. I didn't quite have the gear selector all the way in Drive. It was between the 2 and D, and it wigged out with the flashing O/D Off light. My buddy owns a transmission shop and he told me to unhook the battery for 15 minutes or so to clear out the memory. I never had another issue with it.

It's still under warranty, so I would like it fixed now. I read where others had the same code and they got the transmission rebuild at a cost upwards to $2500.00.

The transmission is slipping again, but the dealership said to wait until it's flashing and then bring it there, don't shut off the truck and they will scan it again. they say that way they can find out exaclty what's wrong

Mine is doing the same. Hard shifting into 1st (always) and 2nd (sometimes). I wish I had a Tachometer that I could check to see when its shifting into 3rd and 4th. My o/d light starts blinking around 35 miles an our. My shifter is all out of wack too. It doesn't stay in place. It basically rides again the front of the dashboard when I don't pull it back to shift. A couple times it has even downshifted on me while going 40+MPH. Any suggestions? I m taking it into autozone or something to get them to scan it if I have time after work tomorrow. thanks
