My 1994 Ranger XLT Supercab has a 3.0l V-6 with a manual transmission. In the last year or two it has intermittently lost power/slipped while in gear and going over rough road surfaces. I don't notice it when I am accelerating over a rough surface but I definetely do when driving at a constant speed or am slowing down. My veteran mechanic could not figure out what was causing it. He was able to expeirence the problem by driving the truck but has no thoughts other than to wait and see if it gets worse. He rigged a fuel pressure test that he could do while driving and found that there was no drop in pressure when the hesitation/slipping problem occurred. He also did the wiggle test on every hose, cable and wire on the truck but could find nothing. Any help?
